Diane Hale

A driving commitment and strong work ethic is something Diane brings to work every day with the goal of supporting clients’ aspirations—preparing for and managing through down business cycles and properly positioning for expansionary phases.

Diane understands the need to balance measured risk-taking with the pursuit of growth. Before joining The Commerce Bank of Oregon she studied industry risk with a focus on potential future adverse impacts to middle market and large corporate portfolios in credit risk management. She also has experience in small business lending compliance, technical writing, and product management.

Diane earned her dual bachelor’s degree in accounting and business with honors from Warner Pacific University.

Diane is a member of Soroptimist International, which supports the education and economic empowerment of girls around the world; she is also a fan of the local nonprofit Guide Dogs for the Blind. Diane enjoys traveling and meeting up with family and friends, whether that’s at the Oregon coast or further afield.
